How we demo

See your campaign before you commit.

Bring a campaign you actually want to run. We'll use your brand, your workflow, and your feedback to show how CharacterQuilt would help build and deploy it.

What is a CharacterQuilt demo?

A CharacterQuilt demo is a working example of a marketing campaign built around your team's needs. It shows the audience, creative, review process, and intended destination in your existing tools. We use your feedback to refine the example and make the next evaluation step concrete.

We learned this through our own sales process: showing a campaign in someone's colors is only useful if it is a campaign they would actually run.

What should you bring?

  • A real campaign brief or a description of the work sitting in your backlog.
  • Your website and any brand guidelines or approved examples you can share.
  • The audience, offer, channels, and target launch date.
  • The tools you use and the people who review or approve the work.

An initial conversation does not require production credentials. We will identify any access needed for a later live evaluation together.

How does the evaluation work?

  1. Start with your work. We learn what you need to launch and where execution gets stuck.
  2. Build a concrete example. We show the campaign's content and proposed workflow so you can judge the actual output.
  3. Use your corrections. Tell us what is wrong with the brand, messaging, audience, or handoff. We use that feedback to refine the example.
  4. Equip your team to evaluate it. A shareable walkthrough helps colleagues see the proposal and the remaining questions.
  5. Validate the deployment path. Before live execution, confirm the integration, permissions, approvals, and scope with the owners of your systems.

Is the demo connected to my live systems?

Not by default. An early demo may use sample data or a simulated destination to explain the workflow. We identify simulations as demonstrations and distinguish them from tested integrations. A live evaluation requires agreed access and a defined scope.

A polished demo answers “Is this the work we want?” A live integration evaluation answers “Does this work in our environment?” We help you assess both.

Can we begin with exported assets?

Yes. You can evaluate the creative and use exported assets while your team reviews the deployment requirements. Direct deployment can be scoped separately around the tools and permissions your organization approves.

What happens after the demo?

We agree on the work, the review owners, the destination systems, and the next evaluation step. Timing depends on that scope and on access to your systems. See our packages and how deployment works.

Why do we approach demos this way?

Our founders use sales engineering to help buyers see their own ideas taking shape. Read Bhairav's playbook for technical founders for the lessons behind this process.
